Alphapalooza is a 3 day music festival, featuring live bands and DJs from across the country. It was first put together by Dominant Sound in 2009. It is mostly about just getting away from the normal everyday life and celebrating a good time with great music and great people. It is located on 60 acres and far from anyone so we can be as loud as we want – and we will be loud with a 5000 watt JBL sound system! Please bring an open mind and a positive attitude!

TETRARCH
In an era where guttural vocals and Drop tuned guitars have become the norm, Atlanta based metal band TETRARCH comes as a much-needed relief.  Combining the thrash roots of Metallica with the molodies of Iron Maiden, Tetrarch is determined to bring back the sounds of the old with a new school twist.

Formed in 2006 by Josh Fore, Diamond Rowe, and Tyler Wesley, Tetrarch has taken the GA music scene by storm playing well over 100 shows in the past two and a half years.  Tetrarch soon spread their music across the southeast with a tour in the summer of 2009 with more tours in the works.

In late 2009 and early 2010 bassist Ryan Lerner and drummer Nick Jones joined the band brining a new energy which can be seen in the bands music and live performance.

Greedy White Citizens

GWC’s approach to their music makes the texture and feel of this machine shatter the depiction of a “modern” rock band.
By blending aspects of Blues, Classical, Jazz,  Metal, Punk, Hip Hop and Soul, GWC  cannot be cornered into any pre-existing genre. GWC’s constant evolution continues to cut new paths through uncharted landscapes of sound.
GWC released their first album, “Stereotype” in the fall of 2006 in their hometown of Atlanta Georgia and never looked back.  They were chosen to perform on MTV’s Buzz Before Break tour, have been featured on the radio numerous times, opened for national acts such as Trust Company and Saliva, completed two music videos, were a featured artist 4 years in a row at the Atlantis Music Conference, were awarded “Band of the Month” by Atlanta Music Scene and continue to play to packed crowds around the southeast. In 2010 the band teamed up with Producer Neil Citron who flew in from LA to begin working on songs for a new release. GWC will be debuting a new EP in early 2011 and playing plenty of live shows to support the record. With each show being its own display of energy exchange and performance, something new is waiting behind the curtain every time.
"By universally speaking to every individual soul, we leave our identity, music, and lyrics open for your interpretation."
- GWC

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, The Bastard Suns are quickly becoming the unofficial heralds and protectors of southern punk rock.  Armed with a ridiculously infectious blend of reggae, punk, folk and ska, this five-piece outfit has released two very successful full-length independent albums and a split 7-inch in just under four years while simultaneously funding countless tours that have spanned the length of the continental United States.

Over the next year, The Bastard Suns will be releasing four cds consisting of five songs each. The albums will be released at the beginning of each season, starting with Fall, and each one will feature four new original songs and one cover that we feel best match the corresponding season. The Fall CD will feature our gospel, country and bluegrass-influenced work, Winter will feature our irish drinking material, Spring will include our ska and punk, and Summer will be reggae and surf-inspired. Get it? Got it? Good.

Six Shot Revival

It's been said, "It's easier to give birth than to raise the dead..."

In a world driven by the need to mass produce by way of cookie-cutter molds, the team of THE SIX SHOT REVIVAL have found it deep in their creative processes to deny the urge to mimic their surroundings through a successful attempt to prove, as in the days of old, that SOUL triumphs over polished, over-produced, systematically formulated insta-pop every time.

Inspired by bands that earned acclaim by way of their overwhelmingly infectious ability to move audiences young and old for the better part of fifty years, THE SIX SHOT REVIVAL has thoroughly shattered the notion that the best of the "rock-n-roll" genre has come and gone. Through the use of the same tools and tactics that brought songs to the listening public such as "My Generation," which gave a voice to the teenage angst of the sixties, to "War Pigs" and "Ace of Spades," which continue to define metal as we know it today, SSR has forced every person in their wake to reconcile with the reality that not only is rock-n-roll alive and well today, but is poised to once again excite a generation to the revolutions that it once did for generations previously.

Teaming with the visionary engineers at the acclaimed Atlanta recording house, Southern Tracks Studios, Tom Tapley Seven Morrison, THE SIX SHOT REVIVAL's first e.p. is taking a jaded and cynical listening public by storm. Tune into this band's rise and join the one true rock REVIVAL.........

There's a new breed of dark, raw, mind-blowing psych-rock crawling from the South, and its name is Dead Confederate. The Georgia group conjured the haunting sound of their debut full-length album WRECKING BALL the old-fashioned way: by making it in the tiny concrete box of a studio in Austin, Texas, where the sound effects for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were recorded. "We're kind of like a Jackson Pollock painting," explains singer/guitarist Hardy Morris, 28. "Brutally honest. There isn't some big twist or turn, it just lays it all out there. Immediate, no frills, primal, emotional.
"

Dead Confederate — Morris, bassist Brantley Senn, guitarist Walker Howle, keyboardist John Watkins, and drummer Jason Scarboro —
first bonded over Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath ("stoner shit," as Morris puts it) when they attended high school together in Augusta, Georgia. After keeping a band loosely together throughout college, the five-piece got serious when they were faced with the prospect of finding careers outside of music. After the small-town crew moved to Atlanta, "We were all kind of huddled together in this little house in the big city," Morris recalls, "Things took a turn and Brantley and I started writing serious personal stuff. We weren't just playing anymore, we were really writing and searching." Dead Confederate was born.

After relocating to music-rich Athens (where Morris and Senn had attended college), a copy of their demo fell into the hands of Scott Register, a radio DJ and well-known member of the rock community, who heard the band's disc by chance on a car ride home and was riveted. He immediately made plans to travel to a Nashville gig to meet with the band, and offered them the opportunity to work together over a Mexican dinner that same night.

"Offstage, I'm not going to sit there and bother people with my problems. I can get everything out of me onstage and I'm back to normal offstage," Morris explains. "We're just all pretty laidback and light-hearted guys. People meet us and are like, y'all are not what we expected at all."
That kind of seething, black-bellied emotion and honesty informs everything from the band's name to their already legendary live shows. "I wanted something that was dark, because we're kinda dark, and I wanted something that would hit you," Morris explains of selecting the term "Confederate." "It's not stereotypical Southern rock at all, but that flavor's in there for sure."
